Terms of Service

1. Who we are

UA Test Prep ("we", "us", "our") is an independent test preparation service for candidates taking the United Association (UA) plumbing and pipefitting apprenticeship aptitude test. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the United Association, UA Local 246, or any labor union. "UA", "UA Local 246", and similar marks belong to their respective owners.

2. What we provide

We provide online practice questions, diagnostic tests, study plans, and educational content intended to help you prepare for the UA apprenticeship aptitude test. Our content is based on publicly available information, first-hand experience from someone who has taken the test, and ongoing research.

We do not guarantee that you will pass. No honest test prep service does. What we do offer is our Pass Guarantee: if you complete your study plan and still fail, we extend your subscription 60 days at no cost so you can prepare for the next testing cycle.

3. Accounts

To access your dashboard, save your progress, and use paid features, you must create an account with a valid email address. We use passwordless magic-link authentication — you receive a one-time sign-in link by email instead of setting a password.

You are responsible for keeping your email account secure. Do not share your sign-in link with anyone. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us at support@uatestprep.com.

4. Pricing and billing

Paid subscription tiers (Week Pass, Month Pass, Quarter Pass, Lifetime) are billed in advance via Stripe. Subscriptions do not auto-renew. When your tier expires, you are moved back to the Free tier automatically and your data is preserved.

The Lifetime tier is a one-time purchase with no recurring billing. "Lifetime" means for as long as UA Test Prep exists as an active service.

5. Refunds

If you are unhappy with UA Test Prep for any reason, email us within 14 days of purchase at support@uatestprep.com and we will issue a full refund — no questions, no hassle. This refund window does not apply to the Pass Guarantee, which is a separate remedy (60 days of free extension rather than a refund).

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials or login links with others
• Scrape, redistribute, or resell our question content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, circumvent, or disable any part of our service
• Use our service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false or misleading information when signing up

Violations may result in account suspension without refund.

7. Content accuracy

We work hard to keep our practice questions accurate and aligned with the real UA aptitude test. Every numerical question is verified against our math verifier before it ships, and content is periodically reviewed. However, test formats can change without notice, and we make no warranty that our questions will exactly match the questions on your real test.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UA TEST PREP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY, EARNINGS, OR PROFITS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability to you for any claim relating to our service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 7 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
