The short version
Our founder sat the UA pre-apprenticeship aptitude test and passed on his first attempt.
When he looked for prep material, he found two things: generic "mechanical aptitude" workbooks written for every test under the sun, and third-party PrepPacks sold in one-week windows for $79 that barely touched the material UA locals actually cover. Most UA locals plainly say they do not offer their own study guide.
That's the gap this site fills. We're building the broadest UA aptitude study library we can: Reading Comprehension in memory format (passage studied, then removed before questions), Figure Visualization with paper-folding and 3D rotation, Mechanical Abilities with gears and pulleys and fluid pressure, Math without a calculator. More skill areas get added as UA locals tell us what they test on.
It's the library he wished had existed when he was sitting where you are.
